Advanced Aquarium Technologies can assist with the sourcing, procurement and transportation of all exhibit livestock world-wide.  Utilising our own facilities and collectors means we can provide quality marine livestock through a supply chain we have control over from capture through to delivery.

Coupled with our global network of contacts, this allows us to source all species of freshwater and marine fishes, invertebrates, marine mammals, penguins and reptiles, including whales, dolphins, seals, sea lions, crocodiles and alligators, through legitimate and legal channels.



AAT holds both State and Federal permits within Australia that allows us to procure most species of animals including limited numbers of protected species that are of interest to the public aquarium sector, with license and permits to operate in Queensland, including the Great Barrier Reef, and Victoria for southern species of interest.

We have holding facilities in Mission Beach near Cairns in North Queensland, as well as on the Sunshine Coast near Brisbane, and in Melbourne.  Each facility is set up for the holding of larger animals as well as smaller species.

We also have boats in all locations, with three larger boats of 30 to 45ft, and several smaller 18 to 20ft vessels set up and dedicated to collecting and management of animals after capture.

Several staff within the company have been involved in the collection of larger species since the 1980s, and with Marine Biologists on staff we have the necessary skills to capture and transport animals world-wide.

Through our contacts & sources overseas, we can also provide animals from other parts of the world, and arrange the transportation of these animals to your location with our own experienced team members travelling, packing and freighting the animals to ensure they are shipped in a way that is conducive to the animal's welfare and arrival in prime condition.

We can provide advice on themes for displays and compatibility lists for displays to avoid aggression and other issues within displays.
