Aquarium species transportation services

We specialise in the safe and healthy relocation of larger animals.

Our experience includes transporting 3-meter-long endangered grey nurse sharks by road to a new home in a when an aquarium was closed and relocating two beluga whales by air from an aquarium in China to a specialist whale sanctuary in a sea inlet on the coast of Iceland.

Each tank is extensively tested prior to transportation to eliminate the risk of leaks and other issues.

Care along the way

We can provide animal care chaperones to supervise the animals and provide care in transit. They can be assisted by wireless digital monitoring systems inside the tanks.

Customised transportation tanks are highly specialised vessels incorporating species-specific life support systems. Technology onboard maintains the cleanliness, flow, temperature and biology of the water throughout the journey. The goal is to minimise stress and maximise health and wellbeing from departure to arrival. Cameras can be mounted inside the tank streaming live images to nearby animal care chaperones.
