Initially opened in 1843, Tivoli Gardens is the world’s second-oldest operating amusement park.
Tivoli Gardens contracted AAT to build a 30-meter long tropical coral reef aquarium as part of a significant renovation to the main Concert Hall.
The exhibit opened to the public on November 1st, 2005. At that time, the aquarium’s 26.6-meter-long viewing panel was the world’s longest.
1,600 marine aquarium fish and sharks live in the Tivoli Aquarium, which contains 300,000 litres of water.
