For those unfamiliar with the Sunshine Coast Business Awards, this event is in its 28th year and continues to be a crucial platform where exceptional businesses from the Sunshine Coast are both acknowledged and celebrated. Through these awards, the spotlight is placed on businesses that serve as pillars of inspiration and expertise for other enterprises in the region’s impressive $13 billion economy.
AAT has been nominated in two crucial categories: Best Building/Construction Business and Best Export Business. The gravity of this recognition becomes even clearer when we consider that this year saw a record number of 250 applicants vying for awards is a wide range of categories, all subjected to a rigorous two-phase evaluation process: a detailed written submission followed by an in-depth face-to-face interview.
But the good news doesn’t end here. This year marks the third consecutive year that AAT has made it to the Gala Awards event, scheduled for November, as a finalist, which reflects the outstanding work of our uber talented team.
Looking back at our achievements, in 2021, we were not only declared the best in the Building/Construction and Export Business categories, but we also took home the crown for the overall Business of the Year at this prestigious event.
