Advanced Aquarium Technologies (AAT) is delighted to have been selected as a Finalist in the 2021 Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards.
This is Australia’s most prestigious export awards programme, with State winners going on to compete for the national crown in a range of product and service categories.
Given our breadth and depth of capability, one of our biggest challenges when entering awards competitions is determining the most appropriate category to enter.
So this year, we entered as both a Regional Exporter – being based on Australia’s Sunshine Coast – and also, for the first time, in the Creative Industries category, given the huge range of work we do designing aquariums in collaboration with architects overseas. We were doubly thrilled to be selected as a finalist in both categories:
AAT has a long-standing relationship with this competition. We have been selected as a finalist several times, been highly commended, and won it in 2011.
Our nomination drew the attention of the Sunshine Coast business community, being one of only two companies in the region to be selected to the final stage of the competition.
